Mission Statement
Savannah endeavors to dedicate her career to creating a positive impact on young students, musical professionals, and on the artistic community
by connecting all parties through a shared love of music and art.

Education
Savannah Hatcher received a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Piano Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015.
In addition to her piano education, Savannah is also trained in classical violin and has had many years of experience in violin rock improvisation. From 2010-2015 she performed with the rock band, Offering, as their resident electric violinist.

Savannah has released classical-pop musical singles and multiple
accompanying music videos via Youtube.
Teacher
Savannah has been teaching since 2011 and established her own studio, The Savannah Hatcher Music Studio, in 2015.
Savannah has been very active in the pedagogical community and held numerous positions with The Richmond Music Teachers’ Association, including Vice President of Membership and Fall Festival Co-Chair.
In the summer of 2013, she used this experience to teach a month long rock and improvisation orchestra camp through Chesterfield County Public School’s Fine Arts Academy.
Composer
In 2016, Savannah composed the musical score for a TheatreLab production of Mother Courage and Her Children, receiving high reviews for her musical ingenuity as she created modern musical styles to accompany lyrics written in the 1930's.
In 2017, she composed and performed the musical score for a documentary for Illusions Filmworks entitled The Promise Land, a story of one of the first free Black communities in the United States.
